Atlanta Thread and Supply Company: An excellent source for wholesale priced sewing needs, but available to non-business consumers. Get their print catalog and order over the phone. The web site is not the best, but live contact is great.
Calico Corners Home Decorating: They offer beautiful fabrics and services and ideas. Not the best prices, but the quality is good. Natick and Acton are the closest locations to Arlington
Fabric Corner: Arlington’s local fabric store specializing in home dec and quilting fabrics. They have other basics, patterns, notions and custome services.
Fabric Place: A New England Store Chain that offers quality fabrics for home, quilting and clothing along with yarns and custom services.
Fabricadabra contemporary home decorating fabrics at liberating prices: Freddy Farkel’s Fabric for the Fanatically Frugal, Say that 3 times fast! They have a huge selection of Home Dec Fabrics. They even let you take home samples to see how they look in your space. Not far from the Arsenal Mall
Fashion Fabrics Club: I haven’t ordered anything from them, yet. But, they have a huge stock of fabrics. The best way to order online, is to request/purchase swatches.
J Caroline Creative: Great website for supplies and ideas. Watch faces, purse handles, variety of fabrics and notions and much more. Nicely illustrated directions for simple and creative projects.

Keepsake Quilting in New Hampshire: Wonderful Quilt Shop that offers a swatch matching service and extensive catalog of fabrics and patterns and tools
Mill Direct Textiles: This is where you buy the real Polar Fleece directly from the manufacturer. Excellent selection of the best fleece available for clothing and blankets. They even sell prebound blankets in various colors and sizes.
Nancy’s Notions: Nancy hosts a PBS show called, Sewing with Nancy. These are products she endorses and offers for sale
Ottobre Design: A pattern magazine from Finland. Forward designs for children and women. Each children’s issue includes patterns for 40 clothing items and is published 4x a year. The women’s magazine contains 20 patterns and is put out 2x per year.

Sawyer Brook Fashion Fabrics: Located in Clinton, MA, they offer beautiful designer fabrics by mail. An Amazing selection of buttons! You can sign up for a swatch program for which they send you swatches of current stock fabrics.
Seattle Fabrics: In Seattle, WA, they offer Outdoor and Marine fabrics and supplies
Sew Mama Sew: Great cotton and linen print fabrics
Sewfisticated Fabrics: Located in the Twin City Plaza in Cambridge, you never know what you will find, but they have good prices and an interesting selection of fabrics
Sewing Patterns: This company sells patterns for nearly all the big and small pattern makers. Plus, they offer downloadable patterns so that you can have instant gratification.
SewZanne\’s Fabrics: They have a great selection of patterns and fabrics. Focus on Children’s clothing. You can buy Ottobre Pattern magazine from them, single issues.
Solo Slide Fastener: Another wholesale sewing store that will sell to the public, located right here in Massachusetts. Again, print catalog surpasses the website.
Thai Silks – Imported Silk Fabrics: Silks for clothing, artwear, home dec. Many kinds in dyeable whites. Perfect for Bridal and artists, silk painting, etc.
