SummerKids: Weeklong, Summer vacation sewing classes for kids/teens
Each student will receive individualized attention during the classes. This way, we are able to tailor our instruction to the needs of each pupil. The teacher:student ratio is 1:3.What interests the student? Pillows? Bags? Clothing? A stuffed animal? A quilt?
We want to encourage our students to follow their interests. We will work to give them the skills to make what they want.

We prefer that the student be age 9+
Materials Included:
Student is responsible for purchasing their own materials
Requirements:
There is a class supplies list on this website. Please check to make sure that you have the items on the list. You do not need to bring an iron, or ironing board. Please mark your name on all of your tools, and your sewing machine, including the cords. I suggest using a sharpie or address labels.

INDIA TONKIN, who studied sewing with Laura for 9 years.
ANNE HERRELLE, who learned how to sew with Laura. She also has a degree in education. Anne currently works as a classroom teacher.
EMILY SUSLOWICZ is currently studying at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC. She has 3 years experience teaching youth.
